New Desert Blanket - $349

If you've had a chance to check out the more tapestry-style blankets, you will have read that every year Indigofera releases these wild blankets. But also, every year they release the more simple and completely aesthetically different style blankets like this one. The beauty is that we love both. The reality is that most people are going to prefer one or the other and we understand that. Some people just don't want a flaming skull in their bedroom. That's where these incredible hand-selected colors and stripes come into play. This blanket is extremely reminiscent of a desert sunset to us. Depending on where you fold it, you're going to see different stages of the sun leaving your sector of the world for the night.

These blankets get talked about in a way as if they're tapestries because they are. You could just hang them on the wall if you wanted and no one would bat an eye. But the reality is, they are the most highly functional wool blankets we've ever touched. The harry pile of the Norwegian Wool creates a landscape of heat-trapping yet breathability yet seen from any of the brands touting their wool excellence. These seriously are the best blankets in the world, and you get some of the best artwork in the world to go along with that undeniable truth.

Multicolor Sierraville Blanket - $349

The classic stripe blanket gets turned on its head a bit with this color combo. We were drawn to it right away as something we've never seen before. This one is inspired by the beautiful nature of Sierraville California. We couldn't quite figure out which color makes this pop at first, but we've decided after close study that it's the red. That's most likely why they went with it for the accent color on the adorning whip stitch. This one is for those who don't want flaming skulls, but still want a conversation piece in their home. This piece was an inspiration from Mats, Indigofera's co-owner and creative director. He had a blanket like this in his home as a child.

Tarot XIII Blanket - $349

Every year, Indigofera releases one blanket that makes everyone in the shop want to add another piece to the collection. This year, it's the Tarot XIII. The Heavy Metal nature of this blanket is drawn from its influence...the death tarot card. Björn Atldax is a phenomenal artist, one who delivers incredible work to every blanket. The little ghosts, hands, and moon are all symbology that resonates with us. We don't see these blankets as a bad omen, but rather the idea of staring death in the face. Everyone reading this had to do that in the past year, but we keep moving forward and take our lives back in the face of inevitable doom.

Second Sunrise Trees Blanket - $349

Second Sunrise has been an incredible inspiration from afar, so much so that Zach went to visit them two years ago. They were extremely sweet and took him in as a brother while he was there. This season, they've done one of the coolest, spookiest and gentle blankets we've thus seen from the Indigofera collection. The design was done by two local artists and shopkeepers at Second Sunrise, Douglas & Kerstin. The little spooky eyes really have us falling in love with this blanket, but what truly does it for us is the color selection. The connection we share as retailers across the world also makes this one special. Only a limited amount was made of these wonderful Trees Blanket.
